fat free cottage cheese during cutting??
sup ppls,
i stay away from most dairy sources, especially now when cutting (normally only a bit of skim milk in tea/coffee, about 3-4 cups a day, very little other dairy if any). i just wanted to know if anyone who is or has cut in the past done so very successfully whilst keeping cottage in the diet? i found some good ff cottage cheese makes here, around 13g protein/100 and only like 2.5g carbs/100. BUT, it is dairy, and was wondering if this will be bad 4 cutting up

Sorry I can't help you with your question, but why do you cut dairy out when cutting? I'm asking because i don't know.

i have read and heard many a time that ANY dairy somehow causes the skin to be thicker and thus does not allow u to be as cut as possible. i think it has something to do with either water retention, or a thin layer of subcutaneous fat cause of the dairy.

It has alot of sodium in it for one...and the carbs that are in it - I believe are sugar. I think that I causes you to hold water. When I was the leanest, I didn't eat dairy and still ate plenty of clean complex carbs just cut them out after 4:00p.m. I think a part of it had to do with eliminating dairy...but damn if your not doing a show who cares? Having some milk or cottage cheese every so often isn't going to make you puffy, just don't gorge out on them.

I seriously ate it with 3-4 meals a day on my last cutting spree.
I lost so much fat in a short time, it was amazing, did not slow me down any thats for sure.
I'm cutting again now, not using it and I lost faster last time.

man, I eat CC all the damn time. but alas, im at 24%bf. I also eat the 2% variety so maybe that has something to do with it. Hell, I'm not in love with the stuff so maybe I'll try a month w/o any and just get my protien form shakes/bars/chicken and fish. Nice question and post though.
