    Protein Bars

Okay, I've been told that protein bars are just sugar and poor quality protein; not worth the money. I wouldn't doubt that in the least, but if anyone knows of any good quality protein bars out there that are worth a d@mn, let's hear what they are. Thanks

Chef Jays Tri-o-plex. Taste **** good, whole oats, 30g protein. I usually have the peanut butter one and 2 scoops of whey as a quick meal.

Not a fan of any of these.

I'd rather eat a candy bar.

You're kidding right? Surely a protein bar has more nutritional value than a candy bar?!?!

Not really when you consider the quality of the protein (either soy or hydrolyzed beef collagen or sub-standard whey garbage), sugar alcohols, and the fact that it usually takes 2-3 bars to fulfill a meal requirement for any decently sized person.

No place in my diet at all, but others may vary. Until then, give me my Snickers.
