Dietary Fiber
What are some good sources of dietary fiber? I am told it can assist in weight loss by curving your appetite. I NEED THAT!!
"Dietary fiber makes you feel full and curbs your
appetite. It also helps keep your blood sugar levels steady, an
important factor in weight maintenance. Another plus: fiber has
no calories."
So, if anyone knows any sources of dietary fiber, please let me know!! Thanks!

oatmeal,
most hi fibre cereals too, eg. bran flakes or hi fibre bran, they contain around 9g fibre per 40g serving, thats alot, especially considering its only around 20g carbs per 9g fibre. veggies most definitely, fibrous ones include squashes, brocolli, cauliflower, carrots (you'll find that most of those veggies which are low in carbs are high in fibre and visa versa eg. squash is high fibre low carb, potato is high carb low fibre)

Great! Thanks xenithon! I had oatmeal this morning and wasn't aware that it was dietary fiber.... Hopefully it'll be enough to last me until lunchtime!
Of all the veggies you mentioned, broccoli is the only one I can stand..... so broccoli it is!!!

no problem. another really good/easy solution: go to a health shop and buy some fibre. yup, u can often buy different types of fibre. its like 80-90% fibre so just add a tablespoon to normal cereals or somerhing like that and u got yourself 10g good fibre
