Couldnt stomach it!
Well i needed a carb source for my pwo shake and having run out of most stuff i decided to try putting some oats in my shake. Wow that was a really bad idea! I only managed to drink about 70% of it and nearly threw up in my car! Totally disgusting. Can anyone suggest an alternative for pwo carbs?

well thats the problem i ran out of maltodextrin and can afford any more at the moment. I was thinking more alon ghte lines of getting the carbs from actual food sources rather then supps.

i pay 1.50 CAN for 1.5K of dextrose, thats about 1.10 USD, its pretty cheap bro

its actually 6$ for shipping too, but when you're broke, you're broke lol.
When i ran out of dex i used sprees and sweet things like that, gatorade mix, etc.

the gatorade powder mix actually has dex in it. That would be ideal or powerade has maltodex in it also.

I agree that oatmeal and protein isnt that great for PWO. For PPWO however I enjoy it tons. I get a brand of quicker oatmeal as the flakes are usually finer and easier to liquify in my blender. It's a little higher GI but for PPWO not really an issue. I liquify that **** on high and what comes out is a thick protein shake but with no chunks of oatmeal. If it's got chunks in it that's when I can't stomach it

You want dextrose.
Just use sweet-tarts until you order dextrose. It's so cheap it's ridiculous.

so what should i buy, dextrose or maltodextrin. Ill be using this during my precontest diet. Im thinking maltodextrin would be better but I'd like to know for sure.
