Tuna and Urine

Why does your urine smell after eating Tuna? Or am I all alone on this one?

Was in a damn long meeting the other day and walked out and downed some Tuna, Almonds and tons of water. Several hours later, noticed my piss smelled different. I know this happens with some vitamins. Since then, I have noticed this fairly regularly after eating Tuna.

Seems a bit strange to me.

yeah i get the tuna piss smell too...it kinda bothers me...but meh...not somethin i worry about

I notice this too. Alpha lipoic acid makes mine foam up, and ditto on the coffee. I just try to drink more plain water if i notice this. Makes me feel better at least, like I'm diluting it. Unused protein is excreted in the urine I think (don't quote me on that). Makes me wonder if I'm really using all the protein i'm eating to grow.

Try eating a big salmon steak and do some cardio a couple hours later....the stench starts coming out of your pores.
