On-line calories/proteins database of foods?
Just wondering if there's a good Webpage that would list different foods and give their calories and proteins content?
THX.

Go to the educational threads. Type in the search engine "How to determine your caloric intake" Print it out the go back to the same search button and type in "Tables to determine your caloric intake" They should set you on the right path as to what you need to be l0ooking at diet wise.
As far as nutrional values for different foods. I would most deffinetly endorse a book called "The Protien Counter" by Annette B. Natow Ph.D, R.D and Jo-Ann Heslin M.A., R.D. It will list just about anything that you can imagine includeing Fast foods. Look to the nutrional labels on the foods that you are cooking. If they offer this it is the best source. Some foods such as fresh vegetables will not have this and that is when the book mentioned above really helps out. Good Luck.
