Could add up to too much mercury IMHO, better switch it around w/ something else like canned salmon and stuff like that

if you're on a budget then tuna as the mainstay is no prob... If you plan to get ready for a contest, then the last 3-4 weeks of your prep you should switch to chicken.
Tuna's been my mainstay for the last 6 years.
I reduced the amount i consumed last year when the monotony seemed to be irritating my stomach.
Recently i converted to mackerel... another canned fish... with support from casein, whey, some egg-whites and beef.

I eat 4 (60z) cans a day and I have no problems with it. I would eat other stuff but the job the I have i cant really take chicken because I have no place to heat it up, ive tried eating it cold(cooked) but it doesnt work. If I were you I would switch it up from time to time, I think that would be your best bet.

mercury isnt to big concern. Just make sure to eat plenty of vitamin c and other things that help get rid of mercury.
I sometimes eat 5 cans a day of tuna. Cheap protein
