    Fruit and calories

    i know i've seen threads on this lately but could find it by searching
    maybe i dont know how to do a proper search, but anyway, does fruits count as calories? like peaches and watermelons? i've red somewere that fruits increase metabolism so the calories gets bruned of, with exeption of strawberries and a few others....

    Ofcourse they count, and they are high in sugar so they should not be used for cutting weight.

    Fruits most def can be used when cutting and should be included in anyones diet, from a pure health perspective. Not all fruits are Hi Gi sugars. They are also rich in fiber, vitamins etc...

    Most fruit is low GI. It is one of the oldest and best foods on earth.

    calories are calories...no matter where they come from....

    Frutose in fruit is sugar. All sugar should be counted toward calories and carbs.

    fruits count but should still be included because of the numerous benifits giantz mentioned
