    tuna

    i heard from my doctor that too much tuna isn't good because it along with other fish and seafood has high amounts of mercury in it. is this true? he also said mercury stays in your body your whole life. it just builds and builds the more you ingest it. please tell me if any of you have ever heard of such a thing. thanks

    I have heard about this acutally quite a lot. I think they said limit your amount to 3-5 cans p/ week. I know some people want to live off it, because it's all protein and no carbs...What about eggs/whites? And meat, protein powder.

    Anyway, i heard it was from the water they are "produced" in, it has high levels of mercury, and from a life of living in these waters, that can do it 4 ya...

    The tap water you drink contains small amounts of mercury and fish and sea food do contain mercury.But lets get it into perspective you would have to consume loads for it to have any effect and the amount of tuna we consume I seriously don,t think it would do any harm.

    And guys lets keep it clean although we may find it funny there are females who visit the board and may be offended by some of the comments
