    Alcohol

I was wondering if anyone could explain in further detail the consequences on drinking with relation to working out. I personally have been working out religiously for 7 yrs. I was in the best shape of my life but now for the past year, I have developed too much of a love for beer. I drink about 10 Regular every other day. However, I still run, lift, eat a fairly decent diet, ....

Ie. What about blood sugar complications? "Empty" Calories? Protein Metabolism? Testosterone secretion! This is one thing I read today...

Lengthy conversation with some knowledgable people would be welcomed but I realize this isn't the place. Anyways, I am going to knock the shXX off and try and lose the 15lbs I gained since last summer.

    Thanks!

Also, how do some of you deal with the inevitability of getting older?

you already know there are consequences, so you basiclly answered your own question, if you are serious about changing your body or improving health you should cut out the booz or atleast cut back.

    Thanks a bunch

    Thanks Dally,

The kind of information I was looking for. It will satisfy lots of curiosity.

...I didn't mean any negative thoughts by this. I just know some people complain of reading too much on other forums. But to heck with them, they don't need to read it if they don't want anyways.

Hops which is in all beer lowers Testosterone=bad. Beer is like #1 on the glycemic index with like a 125 rating.
