pro/fat before/after cardio
First of all, I am 21yr old
127lb, 17%bf, 5ft5in
Goals are to cut fat
I have been reading the disscussions to find my question without any luck. (MAybe its somewhere but I cannot find it!!) Any help would be greatly appriecated. I know these questions get old and I am sorry.
I can only go to the gym 4x a week, so therefore I do weights and cardio at the same time. I usually eat a scoop of whey w/ peanut butter (pro/fat) in morning, then go straight to the gym to lift weights for about an hour, then do cardio for 45min. After that, I have another Shake w/ peanut butter (pro/fat) then about an hour or so I eat pro/carb. Form my understanding You shouldn't eat carbs right after cardio, but 45min later is fine. I want to get the same benefit from cardio as doing it on an empty stomach. I am also walking on an incline for best fat burning benefits.

Ok here the deal, the pro/fat before lifting is fine. But if you do cardio after weights hold it to 30min, and after that take down a PWO shake with pro/carb. Follow that up with another pro/carb meal.

okay, thanks that helped alot. What kind of PWO shake is good with carb? The protein I have has hardly any carbs in it.

use whey and dextrose powder
dex should be double the amount of pro
eg. 30g whey and 60g dex
