Sugar free Kool Aid & Crystal Light

I see these drinks are very similar to each other, neither has aspartame which is good. 2 questions.....

1 if there is zero carbs zero fat and zero protein where does the 5 cals come from?

2 Can you drink these 2 drinks even when preparing to do a contest?

or do u need to still drink water seperately

i have never tried any of them, i'm not sure u can even get them in england

i dunnno but drinking 2 gals of this shit ..could run u on some pointless money spent on them as crystal lite isnt really cheap for the size it makes ...sugar free jello is where its at! great for those late nite cravings of sweets

The five calories comes from the maltodextrin mostly... It is not really "zero" carbs, it is almost 1, just like a splenda packet, not really calorie free since it has 0.9 g of carbs...
