What are some simple healty but filling foods you could pack for school? Fruit and Veggies don't fill and I don't want buy processed foods packed with preservatives,what do you suggest?

What are some simple healty but filling foods you could pack for school? Fruit and Veggies don't fill and I don't want buy processed foods packed with preservatives,what do you suggest?
Do a search.....there are tons of threads on this.
A few suggestions from me:
Beef Jerky
Protein Powers & Water Bottles
Nuts (almonds, walnuts, etc)
nitrotech bars although overpriced are tasty and dense.
