might be a stupid question but im unsure...
what is the difference between kcal and calories? im assuming there is none, but a m8 asked me today and it made me wonder. any help would be great

kCal is short or kilocalories...which is short for calorie.

Kcal are kilocalories, which are food calories. they are a 1000x a calorie, which the amount of energy needed to raise 1g of water 1 degree celcius. Both are units of energy though.
