The best thing to 'snack on' between meals...are meals.
As one addresses the concept of the bodybuilding lifestyle one must accept that one's perceptions must change to facilitate said lifestyle.
We eat 6-8 small meals per day...thus 'between meals' does not exist.
If you're asking what would be a convenient meal i'd say... almonds and cottage cheese.
etc.
Our 'snacks' are high protein mini meals.

I dont know if anyone has said this since I havent read all the replies.
But fruits and nuts are excelent things to snack on betwen meals. The fruits help to balance the acid production from the meals amongs its other positive effects and nuts are loaded with good kcal aswell as fibers that will also aid the digestion process.

yea what nark says..even when cutting i dont feel the need to snack..gum is all i use between meals just because i have a habbit of contantly eating...meals should be large enough to satisfy u for those 2-3 hrs inbetween...no such thing as cheese and crackers chips, cookies for this sport
