Usually people ingest this many times per day, not just one time per day.
It matters greatly how MUCH you ingest when on a cutting diet, yes, as the amounts must reflect those that will help you reach your goals.

As I said earlier, numerous times per day (dependent upon WHAT diet you are running, the entire plan of attack, etc.) and the amounts also are indicative of what the entire protocol is. W/out knowing what you are doing, your stats, your actual dietary plan presented, etc., there is no way to answer your inquiry w/any level of accuracy.
