    100% whole wheat or multigrain?

    what is the better option to go with if getting some bread or bagels

    whole wheat for sure. Bread over bagels too.

    I go multi grain, the taste is way better.

    either one.......just make sure it's not "enriched" or contains any hfcs and you are good....#1 ingredient s/b 100% stone ground wheat or the like

    other then the fact that bagels have way more carbs then bread what is the reason behind bread over bagels..too processed? im just wondering for any times when im out and need the carb source when i cant cook some good old brown rice

    I eat bagels all the time. They shouldn't be a problem at all.

    I cant live without bread.....2-3 pieces a day + 2-3 bagels.....easily.....too often it gets a bad rap..........when cutting forget it, but now, give me the loaf!

    begals are usually enriched a lot more....but like giantz says, shouldnt be a problem unless cutting down.
