turkey sandwich in the morning vs eggs

Hey guys, I have to wake up every morning pretty early to get to school, and making a turkey sandwich is a lot easier than cooking eggs, is it okay to substitute the turkey sandwich for the eggs

check out www.fitday.com I was looking up sliced turkey breast and it turns out it has very little fat, just like chicken...i see no problem in making a pro/carb meal of some whole wheat bread and a few oz of turkey.

You do realize that both choices are totally exact opposite of each other in regards to marconutrient pairing?

One is protein/fat, while the other it protein/carb.

What are your goals for your first meal, and why? Do you have one?

but swole doesn't turkey breast have very little fat? so couldn't you make a plain sandwich just with turkey breast and some bread as a pro/carb meal?

Yeah, that's why one of the options I listed were protein/carb.

    Turkey/bread...

Hey swole, thanks for answering. Right now I am studying abroad in another country for the semester, so cooking is kind of a hardship to do every morning so this is why I am resorting to turkey sandwiches. Right now my main focus is to gain more lean mass. I am trying to keep the carbs in the morning and cut it out in the late afternoon and night time. The only time I work out is in the night time due to my schedule. Do you have any more suggestions on what i should add for breakfast.

If you are bulking and want carbs, go w/the turkey sandwich.

I suggest this in place of oats and eggs now and then ..

I would really search out a very good organic wheat or multi grain bread.. low fat !

Use 1 slice of bread and 4-6 oz turkey and 1 slice of low fat cheese..

    Good luck ...

Your really going to need to preplan most of your meals ... so make your meals ahead of time .. in fact make a whole sandwich and eat 1/2 of it in morning and a few hours later eat the other half... no condiments btw ..

I would recommend investing in an egg boiler. Its like this thing that steams them in like 15 minutes. You can wake up five minutes early every morning, throw you some eggs in it. Set it. Go shower, dress and they will be ready for you while your walking out the door. The nice trick to doing them with this machine, is that they basically peal the egg for you. Its like the shell falls off after you crack it. Its kick ass.

It seems like you need to eat a lot of turkey to get a good amount of protein though.

I, personally, do exactly what whoa said. Egg boilers are the isht and they aren't that expensive. I just eat the whites though.
