    lean beef

How about 93 percent lean ground beef on the george foreman grill as a post cardio pro/fat meal for breakfast. Is this ok for cutting? I know some people only eat chicken and tuna while cutting.

I eat it...If it is steak...pick the leanest cuts. If it is ground...I rinse it with warm water after I cook it to remove the grease (i do this whether cutting or bulking, as I cannot stand greasy meat) then add the desired fat to the meal.

I just went to a restaurant last night for their fillet mignon special - 8oz. fillet, 1 cup mashed potatoes, 1 cup veggies, PPWO all for $9.99.

    Mmmhmm.

Steak is a good source of protein, I would stay away from ground meats - higher fat content, stick with fillets and leanest whole meats you can find.

The george foreman is the way to go for almost anything.

I use 4% fat ground beef like it's going out of style.

    Lbs. of that daily.

They don't seem to have a very good selection of lean ground meats, from my experience they have almost always been higher than 4% fat conent.

I'll have to try elsewhere. We just had a new Wal-Mart supercenter put in; they might have it.

I have seen 97 percent lean at wal mart, but win dixie is like 2 minutes from my house so I settle for the 93 perfect lean on the foreman, I think it gets most of the fat out anyway.

Yeah, some times I wonder, what life was like before the Foreman type grills. LOL

    yeah, but

That sonofabitch grill is hard to clean if you don't remember to do it while it's still hot. I hate that damn thing. I just started throwing enough chicken breasts for a few days on a baking sheet in the oven. Saves time, and I don't have to clean the damn foreman grill. Ugh.

Thats why I put Foreman type grills, the actual foreman grill is crappy. The ones that came out after that are way better. The top and bottom grill plates actual slide out and can be put in the dish washer. It rules.

93% lean sounds alot better than 7% fat.

You guys should consider yourself lucky that you can even get ground beef with less than 10% fat. I have never seen leaner then 10% in any store anywhere in sweden and it pisses me off

top sirloin steaks. If you go to a store with a butcher, pass on the pre - packaged and pick out a lean piece beef and have them grind it right in front of you.
