    meal timing for bulking

    im still trying to get the proper idea going . correct me if im wrong please
    complex carbs in the morning
    pwo should be high protien high carb (complex carbs ?)
    ppwo same as pwo?
    before bed i want a slow digested protein right? i assume cottage cheese is one of those cause lots of people use it before bed?

    i was considering picking up some glutamine and flax seed oil. are they worth picking up?

    Check the bulking sticky. Glutamine is good, but I don't think it is needed during bulking. Flax is a must IMO. PWO needs to be 40-50g protein, and double the amount in carbs. Some like to use dextrose and do a shake, others will use oats or some other low glycemic carb source. PPWO will be pro/carb, but you won't want to use dextrose. Yams, oats, brown rice, etc. are all good. Before bed needs to be solid. Cottage cheese is a fav mixed with 2 tbsp of natty pb.

    Depending on your stats and goals, you'll need 7-8 meals throughout the day. You'll want complex carbs for every carb meal except PWO.

    thx buff , gonna go pick myself up some flax oil right away im thinking. gonna try the cottage cheese with pb too.

    definately post your diet,
    my meal of choice before bed is natty peanut butter.
    and you may try isolating your carbs around your workouts
    however, i read that an insulin spike before/during workouts may hinder GH release during your workouts...
    but try some things and see what gives you the best feel, and results
