    how many grams of protein and of carbs can the body absorb(use) every meal????

    Depends. Genetics play a factor in this situation plus the type of food you eat. You have to consider how much protein, carbs and fats you take each meal. Fibre will help digest food and utilise it more effeciently. Water also helps to digest food properly. Its a tough question..............all to do with trial and error and what works for your body. If you gain fat then its clear you take in too many calories OR eat shit calories.

    I experimented with my protein intake and found that when I went to 1.5g per lb of bodyweight that gave me good gains. Then I tweaked my carbs to give me enough energy and insulin response without gaining too much bodyfat.
