    protein importance on off days?????

    On weight training days I consume about 1 g of protein per pound of body weight. Im in the process of trying to bulk up. Im 215...5'11''...bf%..no idea...have good muscle, but a decent amount of fat to go with it. soo...

    How important is it to consume the same amount of protein on days I dont train????

    You are growing all the time so eat protein the same on off days

    i agree with premier fitness. protein is the most important thing in your diet.

    Your not eating enough,look at eating around 350g per day,every day.

    But how important is protein on off days in comparison to muscle growth?

    "When Do My Muscles Grow?"
    "When I rest them on off days", is the answer...
    Protein helps repair and build muscles so you need it just as much if not more on off days...

    right. i would say more carbs for energy on training days and more protein for he****g on off days.

    theres your answer. You grow out of the gym, not in the gym

    Eat alot of protein, even on off days.
