Just my opinion bro...if you can eat all those refined carbs and not gain any fat then i'll keep my mouth shut. I find however that when consuming unprocessed carbs your body will yield much better results.

I agree with that. Some people can combine macros and still achieve great results (I wish I were on of them ). But I believe it works best when it's done with unprocessed carbs as bigsd67 said.

But hey man, if it works for you, then by all means. And good luck on your December show brotha.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with combinding good carbs with good fats, IMHO. Never agreed with the separation thing that appears very common on this board. ALL my meals contain all 3 very important macros. The only ones that do not a post workout and prebed.

Like I said man, some people can combine macros without a problem. I just said I believe it works best without refined carbs.

Sure, when I diet, I'll be clean. IMHO, too many people try to eat clean 365 days a year......it just doesnt work that way......you need to crank the cals, nix the cardio, eat, sleep, eat and sleep...then train like a mofo.

Though this may work for you, I dont feel that it is the best solution for gaining quality mass. I did a dirtier bulk last year and put on 12lbs and this year I did a clean bulk and put on another 10 lbs but it only took 4 months to do it versus 8 months due to excessive fat gain. I feel that my body is more effective at a lower bodyfat percentage, plus It's a hell of a lot easier to diet down from 7% for a show then from 14%. jmo

Being a former fat ass I guess I just get more enjoyment out of having abs year round call me a fat-a-phobic, but everyone is different so i dont knock your methods versus my own.
