Burning fat after getting tanked?
Have not cheated in 6 weeks and tied one on last night. Drank 10 beers. Not the greatest thing to do cutting but hell, I am human. Anyway, I got up today and did cardio, is it true that I will not burn any fat for 2-3 days after drinking. If so, I might just have me a cheat day today to get my body hydrated again. I am craving some mac and cheese like mad.

I've never heard that drinking will inhibit fat loss for the next few days. But if you feel like having a cheat day after 6 weeks of straight cutting, then might as well get it out of your system regardless. Just be sure to jump back into it tommorow.

not as far as alcohol...just food...

I read a while back that test levels are very low and that your body is metabolizing alcohol and cannot do nothing else for 24-48 hours, burn fat, or gain muscle. I just picked out 6000 calories worth of food I am going to pile into. I have not decided to eat it, it is just ready in case I do. It cold be a 6 hour cheatfest like no other.

funny thing is, every sat and sunday morning i do my a.m. fat burn cardio on an empty stomach for 80mins, and when i leave the gym i feel as if i hadn't drank the night before at all. works for me.

I also feel like cardio "cleanse" my system. Maybe sweating excess alcohol out? Not sure how long it takes to metabolize when sleeping. I know it's roughly one drink an hour for a 150lb male. Going on spring break in a few weeks, hopefully they have a decent weightroom cuz i'm gonna need to cardio my ass off.

I would like to hear more on this... Is it really true that after drinking alcohol the body can not burn fat for a 24-48 hr period? Whats the science behind this... Anyone?

haha.... well....i do wake up the next morning FEELING REALLY SKINNEY in the gut area after a nite of boozin...maybe water weight dissipitate??? dehydration..who knows....
