Ok, its very difficult for me to post on this without making it long and drawn out so if you want the full version, i posted something in the general aa's forum and im not getting much of a reply.
Short and sweet - I'm starting a cutting cycle (test only and maybe clen eventually) this week. I plan on doing cardio starting at 15 mins a day and working up to 45 mins a day 6 days a week post work out/weight training.
Ive "cut" once prior and was successful in getting my bodyfat down to 6.5% however this was with alot of misinformation and i was taking in alot of sugars/carbs and probably not enough protein.
Now id say im around 14% bodyfat (a bad bulking cycle/diet is responsible!) and im probably estimating on the high side but its just a guess. Anyhow id like to get back well into the mid single digits within 3 months... is it possible?
My diet will be basically ALL protein and very little carbs. Now keeping out carb rich foods and replacing them with protein rich foods will generally mean a higher fat intake... will this hinder my cutting results or make them unsuccessful?
The only carbs ill be having are my oatmeal with breakfast and my Post workout shake.
8 meals a day, ranging/starting with egg whites for breakfast, to protein shakes, to can's of chunk light tuna, salmon patties, chicken breast, turkey breast and thats about the Extent of it. Maybe some top round. Gonna try to stay under 2000 calories and over 240 grams of protein. This is at 5'10 and 190lbs.
Thoughts/ideas? My main concern is losing muscle and not cutting effectively. Is a high protein/low carb diet key?
