I refuse to mess up this time
I hope no one minds me doing this...
I have been on a cutting diet for the past week...Im not going into detail because that isnt really what I want to discuss...rofl...
Basically it is carbless...then carb up on Tues/Thurs...with sprints for cardio...my sprinting is to be done 5 days a week with rest on Tues/Thurs
Im sure there are people here that could point out flaws in my diet but I am doing the best I can with the money I have...(trust me its fine anyway)
Purpose of this thread = If I miss a sprint day...I will come in here and report it for everyone to see...Also if I do something stupid on my carb up days...I will report it for the same reason...
Im not sure if I will bother to bump this thread if I am staying consistant...I guess Ill take it as I go..........................

Been asleep for the past 2 hrs...not sure what that will mean for the rest of my sleep tonight...Definately felt like I needed it.
I dreamed that I was in class and I was called on to read and for some reason couldnt read...everyone was kind of making fun of me and there were exagerrated colors all around...Always was a strong reader hmmmmmmm

how are the energy levels? When energy lagged for me cutting last year, I ate a shake with peanut butter and oatmeal first thing... then no carbs the rest of the day... and it made it a lot easier not to cheat since energy stayed high.

Im liking it too Nova
Mousetraps...Im 19 ...eat a lot ...and have nothing to do cept go to class and of course train... so all these are factors in my high energy levels...
got through another carb day...didnt even have the extras...just the minimum of what I felt was needed...The biggest motivation I have right now is when I look in the mirror...I see clear cut lines for my six pack...more so than any other time I tried to lose weight...I am very happy with my plan so far...

okay this really wasnt my fault...
I didnt cheat on my diet at all...but today was a sprint day and I was unable to sprint for the following reasons...raining + "track meet" + currently getting kicked out of Univ so stressed + making plans to deal with that...okay do those sound like reasons or excuses? either way today Im going to work chest(shoulders) tri abs...and also run sprints hardcore to make up for missing but not over do it in a dumb way...
BTW yes I know I posted at 2am and I said "today" Im going to workout...I keep weird hours

well I discovered that my horrible caf actually has cottage cheese...so even though I dont like it...I will start eating it...
Ran sprints after 1st meal (12:30pm)
The reason Im okay with eating cottage cheese and not the other cheese is because with the other cheese I would tend to eat too much...but with cottage I keep it within range...also I believe cottage cheese has more EFAs as fat...correct me if Im wrong...Last edited by Myka; 04-02-2006 at 05:01 PM.

Never heard cottage cheese had any real source of EFA's. But either way, I'm pleased to see nothing but blue so far.

Free food rocks, at least when it's stuff you can eat. Just remember, that it does have carbs in it, so you can't go too drastic on low carb days. Moderation is key.
And WTF. Why isn't the other cheese free now? I guess that's for the best since your addicted to it. Keep me updated, I'm pulling for you. We're all in this together (at least you and me).

good point...its just that Im not sure which kind of cottage it is...1% 2% etc...there are like 4 apparently...just to be safe I looked at the 2% which would be the worst...and for about every 30g pro there are 8 carbs...so how do you think I should do this? pro/fat or pro/carb...or do you think I should just leave it as cottage cheese and not add EFAs to it...? Or is this a whole nother thread rofl

Personally, I'd leave it just to be safe. Besides filling daily macros, there would be no reason to add fats to the cottage cheese since the casien protein is absorbed very slowly. Just what I'd do personally.

haha thanks for checking up on me...nothing much to report...got through another carb day...
ate a blueberry muffin...maybe a couple transfats
sprints are going very well at this point...been going for 12-18 mins per session...might be time to add to the volume though...I think I will try 20-25 mins tomorrow and following
speaking of cottage cheese...Im already used to the taste...I like it now...why dont you want to eat cottage cheese crossroad?

P.S. Those carb up days always get me too. I'm always tempted to eat shit like that. Almost grabbed a few chocolate chip granola bars last Sunday, but ate a bowl of oats instead and was all good.
