Since salmon is a natural source for EFA's, does that count as a pro/fat meal and I shouldn't have carbs with it?

sure. salmon has an ample amount of fat anyway, so it is probably better to have alone. 6 oz (broiled) has 350cals, 38g pro, 24g fat
umm, i dont think it would have enuff fat for a complete meal...
i like to mush mine up with pure Ranch dressing...yeah, that's nice...

on the same subject, is tuna a bad source for pwo? i get sick of chicken and don't mind tuna. lately i've been doing 2 cans and my carb source. am i mixing carbs/fats?
tuna is never a bad choice for protein source, however, are you talking weight training PWO or cardio? cuz most insist on ingesting the whey after lifting due to the faster uptake...[IMO, it's splittin hairs in terms of gains, but that would be blasphemy]

i always get a shake in after my workout (lifting), i'm talking about ppwo, bump for an answer
there is a very very small amount of fat in tuna...no it isnt a problem...I would say it is less of a problem than chicken with carbs...Originally Posted by hawktribal
