whats the mercury myth on salmon right now? anything? or doesnt the tuna have to do with them being in the ocean?
salmon are lower on the food chain than tuna, so there is less bio-accumulation of heavy metals in the salmon. Canned is almost always better, because they are made with the smaller, younger fish- less time accumulating heavy metals. when purchasing tuna, buy flaked, as this is stripped from the smaller tuna.
right now the myth that i have been hearing is that the mercury "thing" is way over rated.. but bump for more info
