Do you lower the amount of calories as your losing weight????
I was wondering since I'm cutting and my current weight is 185. In a week or so do I redo the BENEDICT FORMULA for a 183 pounder if I drop 2 pounds? Or do I keep this diet throuhout the whole 8 weeks??
This is my diet

2:00 Oatmeal/EggWhites
36gPro 2gFat 21gCarb 300Calories
4:10 ProShake/Almonds

yes, as you lose weight, you'll want to very gradually reduce your calories.
it's not so much the weight that causes the need, but moreso the fact that the calorie-restricted diet will gradually slow your metabolism, hence you'll need to keep lowering the calories to reduce more weight.
do not reduce your caloric intake too fast though or else your body will go catabolic and start burning muscle, dramatically slowing down your metabolism to compensate.
can't remember the suggested number and i'm sure it varies from person to person, but i'd say over a weeks period, don't lower it more than 150 calories at most.

when am cutting i slowly reduce my carbs or even start to cycle them which seems to give my body a further push in the way of fat loss.

i usually reduce carbs first and maybe increase protein and fat so the calorie loss is like 100 cals....i do this every 1 to 2 weeks til im down to the desired bodyfat...you should not go lower than 2100 - 2200 cals IMO due to possible muscle loss. up the cardio if you need to get leaner.

Yeah, that would make more sense to drop the carbs and up the cardio then drop calories. I'm tryin not to sacrifice any muscle here. I've been watching the fit show w/ Bob Cichrello on bodybuilding.com. His transformation is ridiculous! Good motivation for me
