DO's and DON'T's for DIET
I was wondering if we could start a do's and don't thread pertaining to diet. Ex. DO eat Protien Post Work Out. DON'T eat sugary foods PWO. Don't eat fats with carbs. Pre work out food? Do eat fats at night. Lifting days and Cardio days.
I have no problem bulking but I don't know cutting for shit. I don't understand the different types of carbs, when I need them, when I shouldn't have them etc. Could we post a list like this for a cutting diet and maybe just cut and paste the prior guys post so in the end it will be a good list or Do's and Don'ts. Please don't Hijack this post with your opinions as Im not asking for them specifically. Just simple rights and wrongs/ do's and don'ts.
Thanks gents,

definately keep your carbs at a level that allows you to lose fat. exparimentation is the only way to find that out. keep protein up and get your EFA's up there too.

Well kiddies and post whores alike. I'm done with this garbage. Waste of my time. Obviously getting information and not smart ass answers is out of the question here. But once again, notice it's the same 4 or 5 punks that do this on all of the threads. 2 years ago you would have been banned for this childish shit. But since this board has gone down hill, and all of you peeps that have been here for a few years know what Im talking about, why waste the time with kiddie post wars. Even the OLD VETS/MODS that are still here know this, but they're only around because they make money getting fitness referals, or to advertise and sell their suppslements on this board.

Hey y'all - everyone is to blame for the direction this thread was once in... IMO. Lets address the original intent for now on, Do's and Don't's of dieting... just post your experiences/knowledge or don't reply anymore...

Do seperate cardio and lifting when possible.
Do seperate fats and carbs.
Do get enough sleep/rest.
Do not rely on training, or dieting, or cardio alone when dieting. It takes a combo of all three to see results. Diet being the most important.
Do not rely on anabolics for miracles. If the rest of the program is not in order, you won't see shit.
Just a few. The important thing to remember when dieting, is there really isn't anything set in stone. Everyone is different, therefore, everyone's approach will be different. These are only guidlines.

High-dose Glutamine in place of high-carbs in the PWO during cutting can produce great results in body composition and mental fatigue...
Keeping the metabolism as high as possible is nescessary and zig-zagging calories can help keep your system from thinking it is starving. Occasional high-carb refeeds help a lot.
Bromocriptine can be beneficial to cutting by influencing dopamine and keeping the body from going into a hormonal dump while cutting. Only take it in the morning to keep side-effect minimal.
Got to do your time on cardio... no B/S walking but some real productive time sweating. Cardio will be the most important when dietary manipulations favor increased fatty acid release (like a few days into a low carb phase in a CKD approach)... take advantage of the key windows for cardio that will effectively burn fat the most.
Stimulants help to boost energy levels and metabolism while in a caloric defecit... have to have something...
Throw everything away in your kitchen that you don't want to eat or learn some real discipline toward sticking to your diet. Hang out with people that understand your diet and won't sway you toward cheating or otherwise fuking it up..
Don't give up - consistency is important for building muscle as well as losing fat.

P.S. Do regard this post by 1buffsob as fictional, cheating is bad.

Thanks for the thread clean-up Warrior... and I apologise on the member's behalf.
For future reference... flaming of this nature isn't tolerated here.. and the offenders (including, and especially, the thread-starter) are skating on thin ice.
