cottage cheese vs pm protein powder

i eat cottage cheese before bed every night, and it probably works out cheaper than constantly buying more pm protein shakes. are they equally effective???

I usually opt for some red meat and fibrous green vegetables.

cottage cheese for the protein source and natural almonds for a fibrous fat source is my prebed meal....i love it. i always get 4% fat with my cottage cheese because the other kinds taste like sh!t and the fat in cottage cheese doesnt hurt you anyways.

why do you say that? its saturated...and the low GI sugars/complex carbs in there arent going to keep that from affecting you is it?
