    Carb/pro Vs Carb/fat 1st meal

    is it a myth that carb/pro breakfasts' rev up ur metabolism..Are they needed..or can u get away with pro/fat meals. A whey shake and some pb is sometimes more convienent when in a rush. I know alot of ppl go with that pro/fat meals after the cardio in regards to cutting but thats more about trying to continue the fatburning which is still in the dark if it actually works. But on a normal day while bulking or just trying to maintain?

    Good question - I have been doing pro/carb AM post cardio. Just tried pro/fat to feel it out beacuse I would find myself hungry an hour and half later. Today I feel less hungry doing 4 egg white/2 whole & 2.5oz chicken and 2 tbs natty pb. I had been eating egg whites and oats. Try and see how it works I guess...

    On days I workout - I have pro/fat up until my pre workout, which is usually meal 1. On days I do cardio a.m. i have pro/fat afterwards.

    IMO it alld epends on your goals and your daily intakes - for example, I only allow myself 2 pro/carb meals a day - I am cutting. I have one pre workout, one post workout. So if i wake up at 10 and am not working out until 3:00 in the afternoon, i'm not having pro/carb until like 1.

    Do you mean Pro/fat? Cuz a carb/fat meal is just disgusting. I personally like to have pro/carb meals in the morning because carbs are needed for normal brain function and I need my brain to work at full capacity. LOL.
