My mid afternoon meal the past week has been is 2 cans of low sodium tuna, 1tbs unfiltered olive oil, 1tbs of ***** 3/6/9. Little salt and peer and garlic powder. It is it bit bland, but not to bad. MAke it in the AM and tupperware it till then. It kinda softens up a bit so the texture is easier to take as well.

1 thing about tuna I recently learned is that the solid albacore tuna (the expensive stuff, 3X the cost of the chunk non-albacore tuna) is much more palatable for me with everything... I can eat it straight out the can and wash it down with water.

with the chunk, non-albacore, cheap tuna, there was no way... it would make me gag.

Wow - I didn't know so many people have problems with tuna. I just man down a can after a bowl of oats in the mornings.

Although sometimes if I'm in a hury and I don't have time to chew I'll make my oats with extra water and just do a bite of tuna then a bite soagy oats. This makes getting the meal down quick if I over sleep and I'm late for work.

You can buy the tuna creations that come in different flavors like, hickory smoked, lemon pepper, sweet and spicy, herb and garlic. Those are all great alone then throw in some spicy ranch or pick up some spicy mayo just to mix things up a bit.

I made my own may last night with some left over yokes and canolia oil. Going to add some to my tuna today with dried extra fine mustard spice. Will keep the carbs low for my pro/fat meal - and hopefully taste good. Need a break from solid white and flax oil every now and then.
