Low carb is a crappy way. Carbs are not evil and do not need to be feared. As a matter a fact, they are your friend.
carbs are your friend. calories in = calories out
it's simple as that most of the time, try making things to complicated and you will be lost. Diet and excerise will shed the fat.
Ah right, what kind of %pro/fat/carb ratios do you follow when cutting?
I like to start with something like this: 55% Protein, 25% carbs. 20% fat.
if your carb sensitive or calorie sensitive you may need to consume less carbs than others. trial and error will figure everything out for you. i'm making more progress now eating more carbs (and i am carb sensitive).
Giants, how would you change your macro's for non-training days?
Can you get all of your carbs from fruits and veggies and still get the benefits that say brown rice, oatmeal would provide? I'm also trying to cut ... but I really don't enjoy the carbs that have been suggested.. make me feel bloated ... (Oatmeal borwn rice, whole wheat)
same here

Thanks....
if those carbs make you feel bloated you may have a slight wheat intolerance. Try using Buckwheat and any wheat and gluten free products (found mostly in health food stores). I know this helps my lady. If you still feel bloated then it's probably just the fiber in the carbs that are getting to you.Quote:
