    counting piece of fruit carbs?

    when lean bulking do you guys count the carbs comming from a piece of a fruit, say a granny smith apple. I like one cut up in my 1cup of oatmeal but dont know should i count the 30g of carbs comming from the apple too?

    yes I count all carbs from all sources.

    That must be a damn big apple btw!!

    Agreed with Johan. Only exception would be fibrous veggies.

    I guess its those juiced up big apples I se from time to time

    the ones I buy weight around 100 grams and contain 18g carbs. Organicly grown. The mega big apples to me tastes disgusting

    When I'm bulking I wouldn't worry to much about counting an apple.... unless you're a severe endomorph or carb sensitive.

    I just would make it a point NOT to eat the apple during any pro/fat meals.
