    Post work out meal 2.5-3 hrs after pwo??

    Ok Guys heres the problem...i hit up the gym right after work and down my PWO while driving to class,the problem is i dun get to eat a solid pro/carb meal until about 2 1/2 to 3 hrs later..btw,that would be my last meal right b4 bed..anybody got any suggestions cause i really dont know wat to do

    Why can't you? If you place eating on a high enough priority list..you can do it whenever. Its an emergency for me

    But seriously..if you are in class...put your food in a tubbleware in your backpack..take ur backpack and go to the bathroom..down your food..etc

    chicken on whole wheat bread or tuna on whole wheat bread is portable if u can afford to use bread sources 3 days or 4 days a week with one meal..dont know if ur cutting or bulking

    If your really hardcore, try a chicken/oatmeal shake.

    Im in the fire academy and sometimes we do not get break cause we are outside doin drills all nite...I have asked to go to the bathroom b4 and they tell yo to hurry up and get back,plus they would see me walk all the way over to my car and they would be like wat the hell r u doin...so yea im in a bind...

    If you are that much in a bind at work I dont think you are going to loose oodles of muscle if you wait three hours after your PWO shake. However if you are paranoid try adding in a slower digesting carb with your PWO shake, which will stay in your system longer than dextrose.

    So maybe throw in oats instead of dex?

    :thumpsup: How are your macros in your PWO? I would up it up a bit. But i would not worry if i were you. 3hrs is not a big deal. As big said u wont be loosing any muscle. Try not to worry to much coz stress will make you loose more muscle.

    Ding Ding..Great answer there. You can try oats pwo, wheat bagels or bread, wheat tortillas, with a combo of those and dex too for some high GI carbs.

    I would'nt sweat it, as long as you get your PWO on time you should be fine..PPWO can come later 2.5-3hrs..i have had to do it before.

    i don't even take ppwo, i just take pwo shake and then 2.5 or 3 hours later have pro/fat. no biggie, its working for me. i'm cutting tho so i havee to limit my carb intake

    so maybe just do like 50 oats 50 dex something liek that?

    also the ppwo meal would be right b4 bed is that gonna hurt me since it is like 3 hrs after my pwo..

    I've been doin the half oats half dextrose for a while now. Seems to be working well for me, I would def give that a try.

    Yes thats fine it sounds like you are worrying to much **** if you are trying to be so hard core then carry tuna around with you its not rocket science, you need a meal open a ****ing can of tuna and eat it, the protein is the most impoirtant part eat some ****ing tuna before you go to work or whenever you need it, just eat every 2.5 to 3 hours its easy you are not trying to be ronnie coleman here dont make it so difficult

    if you need carbs at work get like a granola bar and put it in your ****ing pocket or something its so easy

    why not just get some decent meal bars? or keep oats in a plastic bag in your pocket and down them in the bathroom. wash them down with water while you chew so u dont choke haha

    I have done this before and i DO NOT recommend it, it sucked ass eating Oats that..like eating sand or god knows how to explain it.

    You can never go wrong with 50grm prot, 50grm oats (or malto), 50grm dext.

    As long as its your PPWO go with it and as I said stop worrying mate. Relax bro
