    Nutritionial Advice: Oatmeal To Go?

Quaker has just put out a new Oatmeal To Go, that taste pretty damn good (which leads me to believe they are not so great nutrition wise), but exactly how bad are they? The Nutritional info is as follows (1 Bar/Serving/Packet):

    Calories: 220
    Fat Calories: 35

    Total Fat: 4g
    Sat Fat: 1g
    Trans Fat: 0g
    Cholest. 15mg
    Sodium: 220mg
    Potassium: 125mg
    Total Carbs: 43g
    Fiber: 5g
    Sugars: 19g
    Protein: 4g

Can these be a relativly healthy substition for plain oatmeal, regardless of goals (bulk vs. cut)?

No its not a good substitute for plain oatmeal as it has a high sugary content.
Be a man and eat it plain.

I use regular oats, not ones full of sugar.

Seriously the best way to get in lots of oatmeal is to grind it up in a coffee grinder and throw it in with a protein shake.

It's obviously high in sugar (hence he good taste), but eating oatmeal everyday can take its toll on the taste buds.......no matter how disciplined you are

I'm from the south originally, so we use salt and I can't believe it's not butter spray.

I can never get tired of that, besides, whatever it takes to get it done is what I do, I've no time to be picky in what I do.

I love my oats. Throw in some splenda or some protein powder. I might have to try Swole's southern style.
