    Trying to shed fat

    I have my diet pretty much in check.
    I was wondering about the cardio im doing ( if im doing it righ t)

    ive currently been starting off slow.
    been walking for about 10-15 minutes and jogging for 5-10 minutes per session. Ive been doing this 2-4x a week. Is this efficient ? should i be jogging more or walking more?

    Any help would be appriciated

    Any cardio at 65%-70% max heart rate will do. Just a constant pace will work good. Make sure your doing it in the AM on a empty stomach for best results in my opinion. Oh yeah, 2-4 days a week isn't enough, at least 5-6 days per week and for 45min- 1 hr and you'll start melting away. Believe me, I'm doing it right now on my cut.

    If you're jogging, it needs to be done for cariovascular health, not weight loss. If you're doing cardio for fat loss, you need to be going AT LEAST 45mins to 1 hour, 4-7 times a week, and your heart rate needs to be about 65-70% of max HR. Should always be done on empty stomach when possible.

    ok thanks alot guys. I always go in the morning on an empty stomach =). So basically is can walk for 45 minutes ? im not to sure how to figure out 65% of my heart rate but if i do coinstant walking for 45 min-1 hour i shouldbe ok?
