Miller lite isn't beer, don't worry.

First off, if you're serious about bodybuilding, beer is a no no. Plain and simple. Secondly, if you're gonna drink, drink some real beer.

well i am serious about lifting thats y i switched to miller lite. instead of molson ice.
i think you can be serious and have a few once a week even though i dont
so if beer raises estrogen levels which turns into man tits, how come i know a lot of football players who drink literally everyweekend but still have great physics?
I'd like to see their bloodwork, liver values especially.
A few beers every once in a blue moon won't hurt IMO but it also doesn't do you any good. I wouldn't be drinking during my contest prep though.

I never knew switching beers was an action executed when one is serious about lifting/fitness.Originally Posted by llrockyll

Seriously, what you have to do is experiment just like w/everything else.
I myself would not even conduct the experiment in this case, but we all have our different approaches.

damn u guys are rough
so swolecate u never drink?
For bodybuilding I say NO, but if you are not that serious, then a beer and there won't hurt. Trust me, plenty of pro althletes have a beer after a game or a long hard week of training. It'S more of a relaxing thing, and IMO won't hurt you.. I think 3 would be pushing it though..
The only time I will drink is when I am in Vegas on vacation or business.Originally Posted by llrockyll
Even then, it's very limited and usually only to one night.
I just don't like the way I feel during and after drinking, it's totally the opposite of how I feel when I am well hydrated, healthy, exercising and feeling great, etc.
Sucks....

If you are serious why do it at all? Some things in life have priority and drinking or finding the line where just enough is not going over that line is a crazy way to look at things IMO. A beer every once in a while is probably okay but if you search you will see this subject come up all the time "how much can I drink before.... " come on it is no different than saying how many twinkies can I eat before it messes with my BF.. each person is different but why bother unless you are just a casual lifter.
This is just my opinion.
