    Dirty Bulking

    Dirty Bulking and feeling strong, but feel guilty as hell. No fast food, just more snacks like PBJ, sushi, etc. Not seperating fats and carbs, I think I just needed a break mentally, been cutting for awhile now, and want to pack on some weight. 2 weeks of this DB and only up 2 pounds, I have not been able to do cardio for 2 months cause I had foot surgery, so how come I never gain weight? I am not sure how long I should continue this diet, I feel like I am poisoning myself. Anyone else have any advice, or problem gaining weight??
    Oh I am 26yr's old,6ft''3'' and weigh 193. With 7%bf.. Like to be around 205.. Want the legs to fill out more..

    ok does dirty bulking means you could eat whatever you want? the last time i bulk was more of a clean bulk because i ate a sh*t load of oats which i love. maybe about 400-450g a day. that's how i pretty much got fatter but not that much though.

    Id like to know what you mean by dirty bulk, post your "dirty bulk" diet, I bet its not as dirty as you think...

    Your probably right, I will post it up later today when I have time. It is basically a more relaxed approached to bulking. Eating insane amounts of sushi, and maybe having desert 2-3 times a week, but still struggling to put the weight on..

    i wouldn't consider sushi to be dirty bulk food..its got high protein, & ***** fish oils & carbs.. throw some BK or Mcdonalds in there & that'll be some dirty bulking...

    I guess so, but when you have been eating clean almost all your life, this too me is a dirty bulk. I mean no cardio for 2 months and I eat a ton, and still can't gain weight. I think I am a freak!!

    i love sushi, lol.. Dont think ur a freak, cause i am the same way & it is seriously killing me mentally. if i do eat like that w/ no cardio & gain anything, its all in my stomach.

    ok so what's the main point of dirty bulking? is it just for sanity? i mean you could bulk and eat a lot of good foods and get better results but why do a dirty bulk and gain a lot of fat? can someone please explain

    Well heres the thing this guy would dirty bulk because hes making it sound like he can't gain any weight, regardless of what kind of wait it is, its obviously much easier to put on mass when ur dirty bulking becasue its all kind of mass, good and bad...Also, your symptoms sound Ecto like, in which case you should invest in some weight gainer...

    weight gainer can be a biotch at times.. it fills u up & its loaded with sugar.. but it does help, but i would never use weight gainer this close to the summer, in my opinion. if a person wants to gain quality pounds & he is a hard gainer like me, its gonna take time & the right foods.. i highly recommend for kman to use weight gainer in the fall & really beef up the carb intake.. then chisel ur self up come the beginning of next spring.. jmo

    not all weight gainer is loaded with sugar...my cytogainer has only 6 grams per serving.

    My advice is to add 500 calories worth of good ***** fats.If you still havent gained I would add more fat.

    eat every 2 hours from either 6:00 am to 10:00 pm or 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

    Thats 9 meals a day. It is working well for me.

    Might give the weight gainer a try, but this will be my last week of this dirty bulk, summer time is right around the corner and I guess I will just have to try and put some lean mass on. It is def. harder to gain weight than loss it. But hell I'd rather be in my situation.. Gotta go eat my spagetti and meatballs,,peace

    I'm wondering what exactly are your macros and calories????? Are you really eating as much as you think you are?

    As an ecto you may need to take in 4000-5000 calories.... and it's tough believe me.

    Yeah I agree, id like to know what your Macros are, good eaters know their macros!! Also, Cytogainer, as Venum noted, is a great choice for a weight gainer, especially for a lean bulk!!

    Its all individual. If I dirty bulked..I would get obese within weeks Keep eatin..the way I look at it..fufill your calorie needs for growth...then eat ur crap on top of that. Never actually done it..but if I were..thats what I would do

    I've done both dirty/clean bulks and I prefer a clean bulk by far. Doesn't make much sense to put on meaningless weight with a dirty bulk when you could just as easily obtain the same amount of LBM with a clean bulk (you are still exceeding caloric needs). Also you have to worry about dropping that extra weight after you're done...

    I'd stick with a clean bulk - healthier, gains are more easily maintained, you'll look much better during and after the bulk is over.

    Clean bulk... cutting sucks so bad.... I hate the thought of losing any muscle (don't have much to start with)
