    Quick Question

I usually for my Pro/Carb meal have chicken breast and some brown rice or potatoes. If a decide to switch chicken breast with Salmon or Steak (which are both high in fat) shall i still be having complex carbs or switch with some vegies instead?? Shal i then increase carbs on other meals?? i'm clean bulking. Any help appreciated guys

Ditto. As long as you don't make it like that for every meal, and keep your carbs complex and low GI, it's not a problem.

as long as you aren't supplementing the fat it shouldn't be an issue. if your primary use fo a food is for the protein (like the salmon or steak) it won't effect you much. and using lowGI carbs definately helps.

    hey buff,

i have been on the diet u suggested of seperating carbs and fats as of this week and feel much better. I feel less bloated than usual. Are white potatoes (boiled or baked) high GI coz we have no sweet potatoes here , and is brown rice low gi?

    Thanks man

White potatoes are high glycemic, but are good for bulking or cutting. I personaly prefer red skinned potatoes. Just be sure to limit fat intake with either of them. Brown rice is low GI.

Glad to hear you're feeling better

I steer away from white carbs in general when cutting personally...Prolly just mental, but white carbs are avoided at all costs while cutting for me...
