2000 Cal a day for 4 wks?
So if im 6'3 217lbs what calorie intake should I be under to lose 20lbs in a 4 wk span. Buddy of mine who fought in the last UFC went to a 1000 cal a day for two weeks due to be told late that he was fighting. He pulled it off but 1000 cals is very low. I know i can do it but what are health risks and if I can spread out to 4 wks i would rather do that. any suggestions? obviously after the 4 wks I would go back to my normal 4500 a day due to wanting to cut the fat. By mid summer I would go to lean bulk routine.

20lbs in 4 weeks. Jesus. You're gonna lose so much muscle it's not even funny. When did you know you were going to have to do this? You needed to start this at least 8 weeks ago. Preferably 10-12.

yeah bro you are gonna lose so much muscle. that's not what you want i recently ran i cutting cycle getting about 70 grams of carbs and i lose some mass. i do regret it big time. just like 1buffsob keeps on saying, it's trial and error. this is the error part for me.

10-12wks seems streched.... I saw one guys progress and it took him 12 wks what i would like to do in 4. With training the loss would be minimal. This would be my all time cut to eliminate fat that i have and give me another starting point to bulk. I do not want to bulk now and then have it sitting on top of muscle... its summer and I live in OC and the beach is calling... He did it in two weeks with avg 1000 cals and was still able to fight in last ufc match against Evan Tanner. Yes he lost but he had two weeks to prepare for the fight.

Not possible, even with DNP . You're gonna lose more muscle and water than you will fat no matter what compound you run. Also, your metabolism is gonna shut down hard going 1000kcals a day.

Be advise that this is for weightloss and you will lose muscles too, i did it but i lost a lot of muscles in the process, but i did this to help with back pain.

I did not see the fight but Tanner is a really tough fighter. If Justin gave him hell and gave a good showing UFC will bring him back.
Best of luck to him and yourself on your diet.

Tanner looked good in that fight. Wicked triangle he put on your boy. Levens seems to be pretty well regarded though, so I'm sure he'll be back.
