    whats the deal w/ ricecakes? (carbwise)

    ok, so the quaker ones are made from brown rice? does that make a difference at all? I take it these aren't low GI carbs?

    better kept b4 and after workouts? or?

    High glycemic. Would depend on the diet, but I wouldn't recommend these to be utilized in a cutting diet.

    Even if they are very low in calorie the glycemic index of theses little suckers is very high.

    I would only use them postworkout, but I would still have other things I would take in PWO before I took in rice cakes...

    what? well u can use them for both.. i have much better meals for post usually, they can be back up, plus 1 cake is 8 carbs, won't hurt preworkout right? i'm down to about 1500 cals a day, plenty for me
