Hey AR Peeps - thought I'd drop in and fill you all in on the true nutritional content of the I Can't Believe it's not Butter Fat Free No Trans Fat Spray 8oz - the yellow container with the blue cap.
I didn't want to bump an old thread from 2004 - but it can be found here :
http://forums.anabolicreview.com/sho...ighlight=spray
Anyways, I was reanalyzing some condiments that I eat, and I always was curious to know how much fat really is in an entire bottle of that thing. Myself as well as others I know might not use the "spray" feature on the bottle, but twist the top and actually pour a little or alot on whatever they're eating....
On the back of the bottle 5 sprays is supposed to be close to Zero Fat.
12.5 sprays = 1gram fat
25 sprays or 1 teaspoon = 2 gram fat
1tablespoon = 3 teaspoon so 6 gram fat.
Now here's the funny thing - they round up 1gram of fat to 10 calories.
So their claim for the entire bottle is : 900calories = 90grams fat
or if we use the 1g fat = 9 calories, it would be 100grams for the entire bottle.
1/2 the bottle = 450calories from their claim of rounding 1gram fat to 10cal, 45 grams of total fat
Hmm I should have titled it as "Extra Fats Here" instead of extra facts
Regarding the trans fat issue - no transfats in the ENTIRE bottle - due to the oil not being hydrogenated, but in liquid form as they mentioned.
I didn't even bother asking about the breakdown composition of poly/mono/saturated fats.
Well, hope this helps out some of y'all who are counting / spraying / pouring that stuff... I loved it, I've sprayed n' poured that thing many times... we'll see what happens if I just reduce it to less than 2grams or what not...
I found this information out by calling the number on the back of the bottle and spoke to a customer service rep - they were nice enough to go over it with me... didn't check to see if it's on their website.
Anyhow - take care
