Difference? One is processed full of sugar and harmfull fat. The other is not. Check the ingrediants. If it doesn' say just peanuts and salts, you could find something better. Bulking or not.

I have to agree. I'll pass on anything hydrogentaed or even partially, bulking or cutting. Take the one that simply consists of peanuts. Macros may look the same, but the body views it differently.

Right on as everyone mentioned - just get the one that is labeled "natural" - some now even write "no hydrogenated oils / no sugar added " Natural PB has a viscous layer of oil on the surface - be sure to stir it with a flat blade knife for a few minutes and then refrigerate... that oily layer is important!

    Peanut Butter Brands
    available in supermarkets
    with no partially hydrogenated oils
    :

Smart Balance O-mega Peanut Butter ***
    Crazy Richard's Peanut Butter ***
    Adams Peanut Butter
    President's Choice Peanut Butter
    Smuckers All Natural
    Laura Scudder's
    Publix supermarket store brand
    Kroger's supermarket store brand

I've used the first 2 with no problems -

I looked at the smucker's natural brand too - seemed ok from the labeling.
