any luck with scrambling eggs on an electric burner?

well, my apartment has electric burners, which suck. if i keep the heat too high, the eggs stick to the bottom of the pan real bad (despite the pan being stick-free) and i get a build-up on the spatula of this nasty hardened egg stuff. if i cook at a lower heat, they still stick but not quite as bad and i get less build up on the spatula, but it takes like 15-20mins to cook the damn things!

if anyone knows of a better way to cook these things using an electric stove, i'd appreciate the help. thanks.

If it is non stick it there is no way it should stick!!!
Spray It with PAM ans cook it on medium heat. 15 to 20 minutes that is crazy I cook a chiken breast in that time!!!!
Just constantly stir till all the liquid is gone.It should take 5 minutes.

I have an electric stove and I cook egg whites in a non-stick skillet daily, nothing sticks at all.

Your pan actually sucks is what it is.

Really, if it's a new non-stick pan (mine are on the upper end price wise) there is no way it can stick. I've gone to answer the door, come back and see my eggs burning, and even though they are black and burnt it scrapes right off w/no effort. Use Teflon coated utensils, and never scrub the pan w/any porous sponge. I use hot water, soap, and a soft sponge.

great, thanks for the info bro. will do. not sure what my non-stick material is in this pan, but most things don't stick to it at all. eggs are really the only thing i have problems with in it. gonna hit up the supermarket tomorrow and grab me a new one.

you can get calphelon's(which are awesome pans) at kohls or bed bath & beyond. There lower lines are about 20-40 bucks, and they rule. Don't buy that really cheap shit, you end up eating the teflon. Also coalohelon's are guarenteed so as soon as you screw it up from cleaning it wrong or using a fork in it you can take it back....don't do this though.

i'll try giving those a shot. i tried 2 today and they were both worthless. one was about the same as my current pan, the other one was far worse. returning them tomorrow and going to try to find a local kohls or bed bath & beyond.

i'm assuming calphelons is the brand, right? am i looking for a specific line of their pans with a specific coating, or do they just make one kind?
