Getting frustrated
I have been dieting clean cutting for the past near 2 months. Do cardio 5x a week on an empty stomach. 40 min with 75% HR. I lost a lot of the fat during this time. But I still have some belly flab around my mid section and sides that have not seem to gone away the past few weeks. This is very frustrating.... almost to the point I want to starve myself just to see it go away. I even got paranoid and started to think about getting colonics done.
Someone told me to eat just 3 small meals a day (comes around 1300 cals) and I said **** that because I dont want my muscle to melt off. But if this stubborn crap doesnt go away I might be tempted to do it just until it goes away. Would that be VERY bad for me, even at short term?

Yeah, post the diet so the bros here can critique.
Are you working out regularily? How often? How intense? What's your pwo look like? Stomach fat is TOUGH to lose bro, seriously, I've been on a transformation for over 12 weeks now and I still can't see my abs. Its something that only the truly dedicated can achieve.

let me ask you a question, how old are you? how long did it take you to develop the fat around your mid section? I am guessing longer then 2 months. So why would anyone think that it will only take 2 months to get rid of? Stick it out for at least another 2 months and then see if you are still frustrated. If everything is where it should be, diet, cardio, workout, discipline it will come off! Have faith!

Meal 1: Egg Whites and 2 Whole Wheat Tortillas
Meal 2: Chicken and Green Beans
Meal 3: Oats, Whey & Sugar Free Jam
lift
Meal 4: Whey & Sweet Tarts (for dex)
Meal 5: Chicken Salad w/a little olive oil
Meal 6: Casien Protien mix & Flax
I life 4x a week, and cardio 5x a week. Abs are done w/cardio
My friend told me to dump out the oats and tortillas and take in like 50 carbs a day if I want to shred. DOnt know about that!!! But I am real tempted to just eat like 3 meals a day if i get real desperate.

do you know what the breakdown is? How many cals, how much protein, carbs, fat, etc.? What are your stats? Don't go down to 3 meals a day, your body will starve and eat up muscle. Are you taking any supplements or vitamins?

How much flax and olive oil are you taking in?
I've found that when I begin to stall out a bit while cutting upping my EFAs helps we out quite a bit. I'd say tinker with the diet a little. Maybe switch up the whole wheat tortillas, throw some brown rice in there instead maybe. Up the EFAs.
When I cut its one big game of guess and check after a while- I try switching around some macros and it usually helps.

I suggest dropping the carbs from meal 1, taking out the whey in your pre workout and replacing it with some kind of solid protein, take out casein whey and have cottage cheese/peanut butter/cinamin (to decrease insulin spike) before bed. Solid foods - more digestion and more calories put forth to do so.
Like everyone else has said, stick to it and don't lose motivation, belly fat is the last to go.
Post how many cals/pro/fat/carbs each meal has so we can fix what may be broken.

20g carbs is 20g carbs, I would cut it out and make the 1st meal (after morning cardio i hope) pro/fat, it keeps fat loss going a little bit longer than a pro/carb meal would (or so i've heard).
The whole protein pancakes is definetly a bad idea. You are cooking whey, when it is heated, it loses quality and is no longer a decent source of protein. Also, just because it's made solid doesn't mean that its solid, its still powder. I suggest replacing it with a solid protein like chicken or tuna.
Dairy and a soft look is for ppl who are already ripped imo. It makes your MUSCLES look a little bit soft (the topic IS iffy though). But if you are focuing on losing fat to see the muscles that aren't showing, a bit isn't going to kill you. Cottage cheese/pb is good before bed.

cutting for people who are in comp-prep is different from those cutting to lose fat for the 1st time. we don't have our muscles even visible, we need to focus on getting them visible, not how soft our muscles look. once we get there we can worry about not eating that 3 tablespoons of cottage cheese.
also, i've read MANY places and talked to MANY people that cooking with whey destroys the protein or BCAAs or something - I can't give an explanation, maybe someone could chime in and give me a hand here and explain?
Thanks, Bryan

Patience bro, look at what you've done in only two months. Take a look at the cutting sticky and modify it to your stats. Keep up the cardio, lifting hard, and DIETING and that last bit of stomach fat WILL disappear.
