Cardio and Caffeine
I do 40 min of cardio on an empty stomach four days a week.(m-w-f-sat) On Tue-Thurs I do 40 min PWO and on M-W-F-SAt sometimes I'll do a PWO or just another cardio session.
My question is about doing cardio on an empty stomach. Do you think it is ok to drink coffee before I walk?? I use Splenda and Light Cream. ALso, I wait to eat 30 after morning cardio. In that half hour would coffee be OK? I don't want to jeopardize fat loss in any way but I know coffee is made up of basically nothing, so I wondered if it would hinder?

That sounds fine. Some may say to drop the cream. I'd try to minimize it for sure. But coffee is fine.

yep thats fine and a good idea,Caffeine will raise your body temerature a bit,and also increase your ability to focus and concentrate on simple tasks.It`s got got strength enchancing effects as well as endurance enchancing abilities.

I would agree but it is the "LIGHT" brand and is .5 g of fat and 1g carb per serving so I don't think it will hurt that much

caffeine helps release FFA's into your bloodstream, so utilizing it pre am cardio is a great idea. too much caffeine can detour blood away from your heart so don't over do it. but caffeine before am ardio in a fasted state is a great addition to a cardio program. i would also sdvise to drop the cream. splenda will be fine.

too much makes me naseaus. 2+ cups and it's all bad, but I also take an ECA with it, so that could have something to do with it.

I read over the weekend that caffeine actually helps mobilize fat cells to be proceesed for conversion to energy, thus taking in caffeine before morning cardio will help burn fat and protect muscle. It say s to take with BCAA, glutamine and something else that I forgot that helps transport the fat through the mitochondria, thus making cardio sessions more efficient in burning fat.

Caffine is fine before cardio. Have you thought about doing an ECA cycle?
