Should PWO nutrition be consumed before or after PWO cardio or should PWO cardio be relagated to a later time in the evening. Thanks in advance for the input fellas.

I'd seperate the two activities any time you can. Best bet a.m. cardio, weight train later in the day.

i agree with Swolecat, but if you are doing two sessions, on ein the morning and one again later then i would consume a pwo shake after weights and before cardio...is this a correct assumption????
Yeah, if you train a.m. have your pwo shake and ppwo meal, whatever other meals that day, and do the cardio in the evening. You can eliminate carbs in most of the afternoon meals to aid in making the evening cardio session more productive.

I'm currently doing 45min am cardio, afternoon training, and 30min evening cardio. I'm really trying to ascertain whether the second cardio session would be more beneficial PWO with my HR already elevated, or in the evening as I've been doing.
yep, two sessionsOriginally Posted by WEBB
i would say do your am cardio on an empty stomach then follow that with pwo and ppwo and other meals. then when you train in the pm have a pwo shake after then go do you 30min of cardio. i follow this right now, and i am on a strict cutting diet for a comp, but it has worked extremelly well for me, and like swole said i stop carbs after 130pm and my pm cardio is at around 7pm...hope this helped...

well it might be different right now cause i am training for a show, so i stop my carbs after 2pm...but if i was cutting regularily, i would add my carbs to my pwo, and then just stick with protein ppwo...i consume 1 tbsp flax oil before bed to help slow the absorption of carbs through out the night....just my two cents though
