    Eggs whites cooked vs uncooked

    Lately I have been drinking down 250ml of liquid egg whites in the morning with my oatmeal. It equals 8 whites. Anyway, is there any difference as far as the nutritional value goes or how it is used by the body for raw to cooked. They are pasturized so there is no health risk.
    BTW I think it makes my farts smell even worse than usual.

    Any input is welcome-thanks in advance

    I wouldn't do this personally... I don't know if it's 100% bacteria free (even being pasturized) I HAVE been wrong before though... AND, cooking them takes less than 3 minutes....

    Cooking eggs and whites also makes the protein far more bio-available.

    I would just cook it..I assume it tastes much better. I'd rather eat my food than drink it..

    Anytime you cook something, something is going to change nutrient/value wise...Enough to matter in this case?? I'd say Def NOT.

    I'd recommend cooking them IMHO, I don't like them either, it takes time I don't have alot of, they taste like shit and they are messy.

    With out knowing your goals...I'd speculate 8 whites is not enough anyway...(24-ish grams) protein???

    If possible, drink some whey first thing with some oatmeal. If not cook them bastards, why take even remote chances?

    Yeah my doctor told me that raw eggs have the potential to actually kill you, comming from a doctor I didnt buy it, but I did notice myself getting very sick when I didnt completly cook eggs

    i eat em.. it just takes me a good 30+min to scarf a dozen eggwhites >< and alot of willpower!
